Route

7 nights and 8 days

First day: Getting to Trinidad. When you get to Trinidad, the good times start. After we pick you up from the airport, we’ll drive you to your hotel, where a costume package and welcome gift are waiting for you. It is best to arrive by 5:00 p.m. After enjoying some welcoming cocktails with your fellow funfair enthusiasts, we’ll walk to The Avenue to grab some burgers or gyros and then bar hopping.

Day 2–4, eat your heart out! Prepare to celebrate as if there isn’t tomorrow. I hope you arrived in Trinidad with a loose waist, but even if you didn’t, these celebrations will help you get ready for Carnival on Monday and Tuesday. For the record, Jump & Wine is #teamnosleep. Who needs to sleep?

Day five: Monday of Carnival and J’ouvert. At j’ouvert, we’ll get the day started early with paint, mud, and a little oil. After that, we tidy up, put on our Monday attire—that is, wear anything you want, snap some adorable photos, and get ready to dance the night away to the dulcet tones of soca.

Tuesday is Carnival Day six. The celebration goes on! You get to play mas twice, and this time you get to wear our costumes because it’s that wonderful. Of course, we had to be sure to take some pictures to document the occasion. After that, we return to the road, cross the stage, and put our anxieties behind us.

Day 7: Take a local tour. We’re not in a haste to return home, so you’ll need a vacation from your vacation. We’re going to explore Trinidad to the fullest today, including visiting the beach. You can’t visit an island without taking some time to relax on the beach, can you?

Day 8: Take off from Trinidad. Everything worthwhile has to end. It’s time to say our goodbyes and consider the memories we recently created together. We hope to cross paths with you on one of our future travels.

After this adventure, you might need a vacation. Think of another one of our excursions.
